There are over 100 children on the Wait List for Speech Therapy services from Kaiser Permanente, with many on for several months. However, a Portland parent has been successful in getting his children with ASD off the waitlist at Kaiser Permanente and immediately into speech therapy. Because a delay in getting appropriate services is so detrimental, especially to young children, he is willing help (for free!) other families through the same internal appeal process.
